What is that buzzing!?
I was outside today getting some pictures of Houston's mother's flowers. As I stood there I could hear this really loud buzzing sound. I looked around me and didn't see a single bee... I continued taking pictures and the sounds never went away. I finally figured out it was coming from a tree on the edge of the front yard. There is a vine the climbs the tree that has these little yellow buds on it. Apparently all the bees in the county like it! There were sooo many on it!!! Here are some pictures of the flowers and this crazy Bee Tree!
This is a flower that grows on the side of the garage. Look at that cute bee!
I guess there are more than just bees out today! Wasps are present as well!
I have always liked these flowers. I have no idea what they are...
These are Dahlias. They are awesome flowers!
These flowers have CRAZY petals!
I love this color! Reminds me of Goldenrod!
What a nice color!
This is the crazy Bee Tree! There are bees ALL OVER IT!
Here is a picture of the bees. Only a very small glimps to how many there are! If only I could add sound to these pictures! It was crazy!

I need a moment....
I was pretty sad yesterday. Someone I know got married to one of the lowest pieces of scum on the planet yesterday, and she has no idea what's going to happen to her. She has carried a pair of rose colored glasses through the whole thing. sigh.... Hopefully she will be strong enough to get out of it and see him for what he really is.
With that being said, I had to come to the realization that "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink." The thing that makes me the most sad is that I know that she will never speak to me again and she will never hear the truth about him. He has her so brainwashed already that she honestly believes ANYTHING he says without a second thought about it. Not to mention her parent's have fallen into his trap too. Her sister, who is a friend of mine, tried to warn her and had to actually hear this girl say that she would choose him over her if she didn't let all she had heard go and just support her. WHO SAYS THAT TO THEIR SISTER!?!?!?!
This guy was married to one of my best friends. She got married and fell off the face of the earth. When she left him, she told us her story and I was so angry that if murder wasn't a sin, I would have found him and gave him what he deserves. I am so proud of this friend that she was strong enough to walk away. No one deserves to be treated like garbage.
Hopefully this new girl will in my words "Pull her head out" and run... run as fast as she can away from him. He is going to belittle her, lie about her and to her, then tell her it's all okay.
Okay rant over. I need to thank all of those people who listened to me talk about this for the last month or so. I beat my head against the wall for a long time about it. I have officially put it away. I'm not going to worry about it anymore.
Moment Over.

A wonderful new discovery!
Our friend Lacey enlightened me to this band. The Black Ryder, they are great. Go look them up for other great songs.
Enjoy!
The discovery of new music always makes me smile. Thanks Lacey!

The Best time of year!
September... The beginning of the best time of year. I LOVE fall! All parts of it. Even that weird limbo between Fall and Winter when everything is bare. Not to mention the continuous holidays! I think my camera will come into really good use when the leaves begin to change. Be sure to check back for photo's.

I have been very crafty this year. I have been trying to learn new things. This a french memo board I made. The fabric underneath was something I bought a few months ago for another blanket but i had enough scrape left over the make this. They are SUPER easy! The only thing that was a bit odd was figuring out where to attach the ribbon on the sides. The ribbon i bought is such a cool color! I honestly think that this (Goldenrod) yellow is one of my new favorite colors. Seriously, if anyone wants to learn how to make one I will be more than happy to help. If I can make it, anyone can. Ha ha!

My very first quilt. I drew out the design for it myself. All the squares were cut by me and sewn into strips. I was having a hard getting them lined up so my mom sewed all the strips together. I tied it and she helped me get it ready to be bound. I made this for a picnic blanket. The back is black Denim. I'm pretty proud of it. :)
